Each residence is equipped with motorized shades, discreetly mounted above the ceiling, providing residents with effortless control over light, privacy, and ambiance. To bring the design vision to life, we collaborated with Inpro WT Shade, ensuring the perfect integration of style and function. Motorized shades offer unparalleled convenience providing an added layer of security and eliminating the need for cords or bulky manual mechanisms contributing to the design intent of One West Palm.
Belmont Villages Apartment Building, Coral Gables, FL
For this 12-story multi-family building, built by Moss Construction, we provided the basis of design, partnering with Inpro WT Shade to provide energy-efficient window treatments for the residents. The project included the installation of manual roller shades in over 230 residential units, offering excellent sun control while preserving unobstructed views. These shades were selected for their durability and UV protection, making them ideal for the intense South Florida sunlight.
RiteHite Headquarters, Milwaukee, WI
For the RiteHite Corporate Headquarters, built by C.D. Smith Construction, we partnered with Draper to outfit RiteHite’s new facility with custom manual and motorized shades. RiteHite required window treatments that would improve comfort and functionality across a variety of spaces, including offices, conference rooms, manufacturing areas, and common spaces, all while maintaining a professional and inviting atmosphere. The installation was carried out seamlessly, preserving the view of the Milwaukee River while enhancing the overall ambiance of the facility.
Chicago Park District Headquarters, Chicago, IL
For the Chicago Park District Headquarters, built by Blinderman Construction and F.H. Paschen we provided the basis of design; MechoShade’s motorized shades with Sunsensor’s installed above the ceiling into a Mecho pocket. Sunsensor's were programmed to raise or lower the shades automatically based on the time of day or intensity of sunlight to ensure optimal building comfort. These shades help maintain a more comfortable indoor environment, preventing glare, overheating, and excessive brightness in the building’s office spaces, and common areas. Beyond their functional advantages, the sleek, contemporary design of the MechoShade hardware perfectly aligns with the foundation’s aesthetic objectives, integrating seamlessly into the interior design. The installation was executed with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a polished, flawless appearance that enhances the overall ambiance of the facility.

We collaborated with Hunter Douglas Architectural, renowned for their expertise in providing energy-efficient, privacy-enhancing shade systems that blend elegant design with effective solar control. This project, involving the installation of 4,000 shades, was completed with a streamlined process that ensured minimal disruption and met the construction timeline. This 33-story apartment tower, developed by The Habitat Company and built by McHugh Construction, features 343 residential units in the heart of downtown Chicago. We partnered with Inpro WT Shade for their durable shade system and the ease of installation provided by their metal-on-metal bracket design. The project includes the installation of WT Shade motorized shades in the common areas and penthouse floors.
